Practice Site Plants!

Plants are flagged as follows:

Youth/Adult = orange flags

Wranglers = pink flags

Superstarters = yellow flags

Please do not damage the flagged plants! Find a nearby plant of the same species if you would like a plant to pick apart. Please report any damaged plants to Shilo Messerly by sending a text and photo to 406-301-2233.

Soils, Utilization, & Ecological Site Practice!

Plastic coffee containers are out at the practice site and labeled for each station. Answers are written on index cards inside the coffee cans. PLEASE PUT ANSWER CARDS BACK IN THE CANS WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED!

There are two ecological sites flagged, and soil samples for texturing that match each site.

There are five utilization sites marked, to demonstrate five different levels of utilization.

The Malta Readiness Center is located at 509 S 10th Ave East. The practice site is approximately 3.4 miles from the Readiness Center, off of Short Oil Road. Take a look at the map and photo below!
